The Irish Water Spaniel coat is different than most dog hair. Many of the show line shampoos and conditioners leave the coat too dry or too soft and it’s very easy to lose the natural texture and oils of the coat in the bathing process or when using products. We started using “The Barker” a month ago on our Gordon setters. To say I have noticed a change in my dog’s coats, would be an understatement. Having setters, finding products that not only nourish the hair but prevent breakage and over drying is crucial. After just one use on two different dogs, I noticed their coats were shiny, smooth and dried straight without the use of heat. I love this product so much! It rinses out more easily than any other shampoo and it leaves the dogs free of residue and very clean! We are excited to use The Barker on all of our dogs!!

With few options over the years, I’m happy to find the Barker Premium Pet Shampoo and Conditioner. A pleasant surprise to find an organic and environmentally friendly product for dogs that actually works. With NO Dyes, Sulfates, phosphates, phthalates, or synthetic fragrance I found it to clarify and increase volume all while hydrating and conditioning the coats. It’s great to know it’s not only going to provide a safer option for the dogs I groom but also peace of mind for me when bathing a large numbers of dogs, less chemicals, less risk. I loved the fact that it rinsed quickly without leaving residue and it seemed to decrease my drying time as well.

I absolutely love this line of products! As a breeder of English Springer Spaniels, it can be a challenge to find the right shampoo and conditioner. Our breed has an outer coat and undercoat that work to make the springer weatherproof. "The Barker" enhances the natural texture and shine of the outer coat and maintains the dense undercoat. This is the only shampoo and conditioner I will use on current and future generations of Wynmoor Springers.

First time user and now Lover of this shampoo and conditioner. I've had Labradors for 20 years and always struggled to find a product for them that actually cleans them but doesn't make them soft. What can I say. The Barker is incredible. I’ve been using it on my personal setters as well as multiple client dogs and it’s incredible. The Barker in just one use cleared a dry skin/dandruff issue on a dog. This boy, a top ranked Irish Setter since being soley conditioned in the Barker is growing coat by the handful. This shampoo/conditioner leaves a great texture, as well as shine. Thankful to have a great shampoo that isn’t too heavy to finally use on my dogs !
